How can we help?

Do you take owner surrenders?

There is no easy way to say “I need to rehome my pet”. We are happy to take owner surrenders when space allows, however, we want to help you first. Bear in mind that we are a foster based organization and try to reserve surrender space for emergencies only. Our mission is to help cats who are unadoptable in a normal setting. I need help with my cat.

Is your cat missing the litterbox? Chewing your cords? Climbing the curtains? If you’re in need of a trainer or some resources, our director is happy to help. You can email her at freyas.fearless.felines@gmail.com. She accepts paid clients, but will make exceptions in extreme situations. Please note, she requires medical documents, an in-depth interview, and a commitment from the household to work with a feline.

I found a cat/kitten, can you take it?

Before we say yes, we have a few questions of our own. We want to make sure no one is looking for this animal and that it is in its best interest to become a superhero, learn more here: found an animal. We focus on taking emergency cases, we typically do not take adult cats who are healthy, able to care for themselves, and who have a caretaker.

I would like to adopt!

We would love to have you take a hero home! Please bear in mind we cannot respond to inquiries without an application on file. This expedites our process and helps us screen more efficiently. Check out the process and available heroes here: adopt a hero

How old are your kittens?

We spay and neuter at 12 weeks or later to ensure that our kittens have developed properly. By 14 weeks, a kitten has learned and retained the important lessons we teach about confidence and life skills.

What is Fear Free?

Every volunteer is certified through Fear Free Shelters. Our foster kittens/cats are able to consent to interactions, are exposed to new experiences daily, and are taught that they can face any new challenge. Learn more about Fear Free.

I’m looking for a hypoallergenic cat.

Do you have dogs for adoption?

We love dogs, but sadly we aren’t equipped financially or physically for dogs at this time. We work with an excellent trainer who is a canine matchmaker, check out her page here: Wintegrity K9
