Our Story
Most comic books begin with a tragic event, whether it’s Superman losing his birth parents, Batman losing his parents, Spiderman losing his uncle...okay so it’s mostly orphans, but what is a foster pet, but one needing a family? This isn’t your typical rescue, it is one that is founded by people that society has at one time or another labeled as “broken”.
Not one of us has allowed our pasts to dictate the future that we have decided to build. We are strong, brave, and passionate. We are business women, artists, and care givers. Above all, we are survivors. Whether it be depression, Crohn’s, anxiety, or PTSD, we have spent our lives trying to make the world around us a better, safer place for all living creatures that we meet.
Our mission is to promote a culture geared around spaying and neutering tame and feral animals. Our primary goal is to provide low cost spay and neuter options for tame and feral animals. Secondly to foster and adopt out animals that are often overlooked, such as feral kittens, senior pets, disabled pets, and those needing to be re-homed due to emergencies. Lastly, we want to provide spay and neuter education events to the community through schools, fairs, and local events.
If you or someone you know is in need of help with finding low cost options for spaying or neutering you pet or are out of options for re-homing a pet, we will do everything in our power to assist you. Please bear in mind that we do not take owner surrenders.
Saving lives is our business, love is our super power, and our capes are covered in fur.
